MATH

In Montessori, arithmetic is introduced through a hands-on approach that allows children to explore numbers, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using concrete materials. In Montessori, mathematics is structured into three key components: the introduction of traditional number names, the mastery of arithmetic operations, and the understanding of large quantities.Do you all remember how we learned the three components in our school? In Montessori, we have special materials for everything, and students learn all the concepts through hands-on materials ike bead frames and number rods, to help children understand numbers, counting, and basic math operations through physical manipulation and exploration.
