Culture

In Montessori, culture helps the children to explore different ways of life around the world. They learn about different countries, people, languages, foods, clothing, and traditions through hands-on materials like maps, cultural artifacts, books, and music. The focus is on appreciating and respecting diversity, helping children understand that people have unique customs and ways of living, but also that we all share the same planet. This approach encourages curiosity, empathy, and an open-minded view of the world. In "The Journey

Geography help children to explore the world around them. They learn about continents, countries, and states by using maps and globes. Children get to feel and work with puzzle maps, which helps them understand the shape of different places.

Maria Montessori said that “The land is where our roots are. The children must be taught to feel and live in harmony with the Earth.” Reflecting her philosophy, Our science and nature studies help children develop a strong appreciation for the Earth and all living things.Zoology help children to learn about animals, their characteristics, habitats, and how they live and grow in the natural world.Botany help children to learn about the parts of plants, like roots, stems, leaves, and flowers, using real plants and hands-on materials. Children plant seeds, nurture them with water, and observe their growth and transformation over time.Nature walks are an integral and enriching part of the educational experience in "The Journey".

Art help children to express themselves freely. They use different materials like paints, clay, and drawing tools to create their own artwork, learning about shapes, colors, and textures.
